I am up on this rainy, quiet morning reflecting back on the 2013 year.  As I reflect back on this year, I think of....
1. Appreciating my husband for his abundance of support, love, and understanding
2. Learning more and more about Bedford County/ Campbell County...transitioning to this "neck of the words" has not been a "walk in the park"
3. Learning Needs Versus Wants (due to financial strife)
4. Struggling with the idea of getting a second job
5. Cherishing the moments of friendships (far and near)
6. Raising a dog (sounds crazy, but a dog is a lot of work)
7.  Trying to learn the concept, "I cannot save the world" (however, I still will continue to try)
8. Opening up to God (my faith)/ Struggling to take the first step and search out a church to go to
9. My continued struggle of gaining weight...realizing that I am an "emotional eater" and I need to be in control of what goes in my mouth
10. Accepting my life has changed AND I absolutely LOVE IT!

Going into the 2014 year, I do have some goals or "new year resolutions".
1. Exercise at least 3 to 4 times per week.
2. Run a 5K.
3. Pay off three-fourths of my credit card debt.
4. Read a daily devotional/ get in-tuned more with scripture.
5. Find a church in the area.

What are your goals? Do you think setting goals is pointless or worth-while?

Again, my goals are very "self-centered", but I am okay with this. Usually, in the past, my goals have been very general, not specific at all, focusing on everything else but me. This year, I feel like I really want to focus on getting physically, mentally, and spiritually "fit" because I feel like 1.) I deserve it! AND 2.) It will allow me to lead a healthier lifestyle.
